Villaworld Homes, a subsidiary of AVID Property Group, has been honoured with the top gong at the 2024 Housing Industry Association (HIA) – CSR Australian Housing Awards, taking home the Australian Professional Major Builder award from the event’s gala dinner in Cairns earlier this month.

Acquired by AVID in 2019 and becoming the developer’s dedicated builder arm, Villaworld is at the coalface of industry practice, with its high-quality construction delivery noted by the Association. Leaning on 35 years of home design and construction, each residence within Villaworld’s range has been curated, researched, adapted, and improved over time.

Villaworld Homes’ home range has been curated, researched, adapted, and improved over more than 35 years, with the builder having delivered 19,000 homes and more than 7,000 home design combinations over this time.

AVID General Manager Housing Peter Wood says he is delighted to have seen the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation rewarded.

“We are immensely proud to have been acknowledged by HIA with these awards – which reflect the overall high standard of our housing, our innovative practices and customer first approach,” he says.

“We would like to thank everyone who has played a part in our success. We believe that these awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, and we are excited to share this achievement with our partners and clients.”

Villaworld Homes was additionally a finalist for its Sphere Garden Terraces development on the Gold Coast.
