Carter Williamson has announced the shortlisting of a number of its recently delivered projects within an array of awards programs, plus the departure of two team members.
Wisteria (pictured) – recently covered by Architecture & Design – along with Birchgrove House have been shortlisted at the Houses Awards, while the latter has additionally been shortlisted in both the Australian Interior Design Awards and the National Trust (NSW) Heritage Awards, for 'Residential Design' and 'Architecture' respectively.
Another residential project, Tree Island, has been nominated for ArchDaily's 2024 Building of the Year award.
The practice has also bid farewell to Architecture Graduates Vivienne Hinschen (pictured above) and Dana Marjan (pictured below), who are regarded as “beloved members of the CW team over the last several years”.
Hinschen has been involved in the delivery of a number of high-quality residential projects, the practice’s carbon neutral auditing process, and The Village Pre-School. Marjan has also been involved in a number of residential developments, as well as entering into design competitions on behalf of the practice, plus being a pivotal figure in the creation of CW’s first 'Reflect' Reconciliation Action Plan.
A statement from Carter Williamson reads, “We wish them both all the best in their next chapters and will miss their brightness and empathy dearly.”
