DecorLini panels deliver acoustics, aesthetics and function in Marion SA school
The innovative linear acoustic timber panels line the walls and ceilings of the foyer and private study spaces.
The Westminster School located in Marion, South Australia aligns world-class facilities and design with the school’s vision, values and educational priorities.
Designed by Brown Falconer in collaboration with Hayball Architects, and built by Sarah Constructions, the new multi-million-dollar educational facility has been designed to encourage students to learn.
DecorLini was specified for the project. Installed by Titan Interiors, Joinery Marc and Motyl Interiors, the innovative linear acoustic timber panels line the walls and ceilings of the foyer and private study spaces.
The panels function not only as high-performing acoustics, but also assist in the segmentation of spaces. The linear panels introduce texture that creates a contrast between the library and study nooks, offering comfort and fostering a safe learning environment.
DecorLini invites warmth into the space by seamlessly combining with the other timber features, whilst also sparking contrast against the harsher finishes such as glass and stainless steel, softening the space for a more pleasant experience.
Decor Systems was specified on the project as the architects sought a locally sourced product.
