Metecno’s insulated façade system resolves limited access problems at Yorkshire Brewery site
MetecnoKasset, an insulated façade system from Metecno was specified for the Yorkshire Brewery Apartments project.
MetecnoKasset, an insulated façade system from Metecno was specified for the Yorkshire Brewery Apartments project, where limited access for cranes and scaffolding made the installation of standard curtain wall and insulated panel systems very difficult to execute.
MetecnoKasset, a complete curtain or window wall system, can be installed from inside the building, allowing developers to use insulated panel products without the added costs and logistics.
Key features of the MetecnoKasset insulated façade system include higher fire protection and thermal properties; prefab sections delivered direct to site; simple installation by slotting the panels into place and securing them; and tested to AS 5113 – External Wall and Fire Spread requirements.
A durable insulated wall and ceiling panel with a modified PIR (Polyisocyanurate) fire retardant core, MetecnoKasset is available in a range of COLORBOND colours, offering the perfect palette to create an inspiring interior or exterior finish.
The MetecnoKasset system is available as a modular unit for seamless window/ wall junctions, and a broad choice of colours and finishes.
Offering a fast and economical alternative to tilt panels, the MetecnoKasset system is lightweight and easy to install, and can be installed up to 50% faster than traditional systems. The installation at the Yorkshire Brewery Apartments, for instance, progressed at the rate of two floors each week. Since the panels are installed from inside the building, there’s no need for perimeter scaffolding.
Suitable for low and high rise buildings (wind rated up to 250m)
