SAS750 ceiling system helps Brisbane office building achieve carbon neutral status
SAS International Australia was chosen to provide the metal ceiling solution for the main entrance, hallways and meeting rooms using the bespoke SAS750 Vertiline system.
In the heart of Brisbane stands General Property Trust’s first premium office building, One One One Eagle Street.
The first premium office building to achieve carbon neutral status, the office complex is designed by international architecture firm, BVN, and built on a foundation of reducing energy and water consumption to provide long-term cost efficiencies.
As the first metal ceiling manufacturer to achieve Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze (Version 4.0), SAS International Australia was chosen to provide the metal ceiling solution for the main entrance, hallways and meeting rooms using the bespoke SAS750 Vertiline system.
The SAS750 ceiling system is becoming increasing popular in the Australian market as it provides the option for dynamic design combined with practicality. It enables specifiers the flexibility to choose from a variety of design features including the ability to incorporate curves, waves as well as horizontal, vertical mounting options.
SAS International’s sustainability focus aligned well with the goals of this project. The Company was awarded Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze (Version 4) in April 2023. The certification covers not only the majority of the Company’s products but also the manufacturing and procurement processes. SAS International is working hard on sustainability by reducing their impact on the environment and assisting in meeting the global net zero targets.
The project was completed in 2023
